Great Recipe For Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

If you want to make a treat that your pet will love, try making peanut butter dog cookies. These are quick and easy to prepare and involve very little clean up. Follow the recipe below to help give your pups something that they will love and that will cost you very little money to prepare.

The preparation method is fairly easy and just involves getting the ingredients and materials. You will need: a half to one cup of water, a quarter cup of oil, two eggs, three tablespoons of peanut butter, two cups of flour and a half cup of cornmeal and margarine. You will also need a mixing bowl (electric mixers are not necessary), a smaller bowl, a whisk and a cookie sheet.

Combine the dry ingredients: flour and cornmeal into the large mixing bowl. Whisk the eggs in the smaller bowl and add the eggs, the peanut butter, oil and water to the dry ingredients. Fold the dough until it is stiff enough and all the ingredients are properly incorporated.

You can opt not to bake the dough immediately or maybe just want to make a big batch in one sitting. To store the leftovers, form it into a log and wrap it as tightly as possible with clear plastic. Put the wrapped log in the freezer and use it before three months have passed.

When you are ready to bake, start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Celsius and greasing the baking sheet with the margarine. Transfer the mixture from the bowl to the baking sheet by using a tablespoon. Leave enough space between the dough placed on the sheet to give them room to expand while baking. Place the sheet into the oven and let the cookies bake for at least 20 minutes.
